Imagine.....

We don't want to live in a world,surrounded by this.

Do you?

Sheffield City Council and the public need to co-operate and take joint responsibility for improving the degree of plastic and card that is recycled.

      Despite attempting to make recycling easier with local residents being provided with recycling bins and collection timetables, we do feel that the council are going for a too hard approach, putting the public off. Fining local residents for putting rubbish in the wrong bins, or leaving bins too full, is not persuading and encouaging recycling...

The Council need to re consider their approach to persuading us, but we also need to contribute and recycle our share. Even if it just means one piece of plastic and card a day.

Imagine a world without....

Imagine a world without plastic. Its hard. isn't it?

Every day objects that we take for granted, rely on plastic to be manufactured from.

Plastic relies on oil & non renewable materials, which are rapidly running out.
Or does it? - the answer, it doesn't.

By recycling our exisiting obsolete plastic products, even the smallest waste.
You can make a difference...

1 Recycled plastic bottle would save enough energy to power 1, 60-watt lightbulb for 3 hours.

275000 tonnes of plastic are used in the Uk a year, that is 15 million plastic bottles a day

The link for the video above portrays just how wasteful America is with plastic bottles, and that is just 1 out of 195 countries in the world.


Shocking, isn't it.
