Sheffield City Council and the public need to co-operate and take joint responsibility for improving the degree of plastic and card that is recycled.

      Despite attempting to make recycling easier with local residents being provided with recycling bins and collection timetables, we do feel that the council are going for a too hard approach, putting the public off. Fining local residents for putting rubbish in the wrong bins, or leaving bins too full, is not persuading and encouaging recycling...

The Council need to re consider their approach to persuading us, but we also need to contribute and recycle our share. Even if it just means one piece of plastic and card a day.
